Met Eireann issues Status Yellow wind and rain warnings for four counties on Thursday
"A Status Yellow rain warning will be in place for Cork and Kerry from 11am until 8pm on Thursday. Possible impacts include localised flooding, difficult travel conditions, and poor visibility, Met Éireann said. A Status Yellow wind warning is also in place for Waterford, Wexford, Kerry and Cork with anticipated very strong and gusty winds. This warning will be valid from 11am until 11pm on Thursday. The national forecaster has warned of possible difficult travelling conditions, some fallen trees, and wave overtopping in these counties."
"The week ahead will bring a mixed bag of weather, and nighttime temperatures are set to turn chillier as October comes to an end. Today will be bright with some sunny spells, though there will be scattered showers and it will be breezy. Those showers will spread later on, with some turning heavy, particularly in the west and northwest. Highest temperatures will range from 10 to 13C."
