Dawid Szóstak left the anti-LGBTQ+ Confederation party after announcing a relationship with Michalina Manios, a Poland's Next Top Model finalist who was raised as a boy until age 18 and identifies as intersex. Intersex describes people whose genitals, chromosomes, or reproductive organs do not fit a male/female binary and is not a disorder. Szóstak removed his X account after previously listing Catholic, nationalist and conservative affiliations in his bio. Szóstak and Manios met on a dating site and bonded over shared Catholic and traditional values. Manios placed third on the reality show, appeared on The Voice of Poland, is studying sexology, and lives between Sweden and Poland.
