Teen Impaled On Queens Fence In Blizzard Aftermath; FDNY Responds
"When FDNY firefighters and EMS personnel arrived at the scene around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, they found a teen girl's leg pierced by a fence spike in front of 41-30 Judge St. in Queens, between Baxter and Pettit Avenues, officials said."
"The teen sustained a laceration behind her right knee while attempting to climb the fence, an NYPD spokesperson said. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition as of Tuesday, police said."
On February 23, FDNY firefighters and EMS personnel responded to an incident in Queens where a teen girl sustained a serious injury while playing around with friends following Monday's blizzard. The girl's leg was pierced by a fence spike in front of a residence on Judge Street between Baxter and Pettit Avenues. She suffered a laceration behind her right knee while attempting to climb the fence. Emergency responders successfully rescued her from the fence, and she was transported to Elmhurst Hospital where she remained in stable condition.
