Caroline Dubois outpointed Terri Harper to become the unified lightweight world champion at London's Olympia. After a slow start, Dubois dropped Harper in the sixth round with a jab and left hook. Harper, despite suffering a cut from a head clash, continued to fight until the end. The judges scored the bout 98-91, 97-92, and 98-91 in favor of Dubois, who improved her record to 13 wins and one draw. The event marked a significant return of championship boxing to the historic venue.
