Jon Jones, the former UFC double champion, has officially retired from fighting, stating he is now focused on business ventures. He confirmed his retirement at an IBA bare-knuckle boxing event, declaring, 'No bare-knuckle. My gloves are hung up.' After a brief return to the UFC, where he won and defended the heavyweight title, Jones abruptly retired in June 2025. Despite attempts to secure a fight on the UFC White House card, he was unsuccessful and has since requested his release from the UFC.
