Daniel Rodriguez will headline the UFC’s first-ever card in Serbia at UFC Belgrade on Aug. 1 at Belgrade Arena, facing Uros Medic. Rodriguez returns after a July 2025 unanimous decision win over Kevin Holland that extended his UFC promotional winning streak to three, following victories over Santiago Ponzinibbio and Alex Morono. After that win, Rodriguez was arrested for attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border with marijuana and spent about eight months in Mexican prison. Medic, a Serbian-descent fighter based in Alaska, earned a first-round knockout of Geoff Neal at UFC Houston on Feb. 21 and enters with a 7-3 UFC record, with all wins by knockout or technical knockout. The card is also expected to feature Johnny Walker vs. Ante Delija in a heavyweight matchup.
