"The oft-rumored redesign of the rear is once again confirmed, complete with a huge camera island that extends all across from the left side to the right. The design of the rest of the back contains another area that's outlined in order to make the camera island less of an eyesore. Apple will hold an event on September 9 to announce the iPhone 17 lineup, including iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. A short hands-on video surfaced in China that purportedly shows a production-line iPhone 17 Pro Max being handled. The rear redesign appears to feature a large camera island stretching from left to right across the back, with an outlined area intended to reduce its visual impact. The unit in the video could be a dummy, as many dummy units have leaked before, but the clip strengthens the likelihood that the redesign will appear next week.
