Netflix updates Moments feature, making it easier to share the best bits from movies and shows
Briefly

Netflix introduced Moments as a bookmark-style tool and updated it to let users set start and end points to create short clips. The clip feature enables precise sharing of moments that can become viral. The update coincides with the release of part two of Wednesday season two, and the most popular Moment so far is the song "Soda Pop" from KPop Demon Hunters. Users can create Moments on Android or iOS phones and tablets by tapping the Clip button, selecting start and end points, and saving; saved Moments appear in the My Netflix tab and can be rewatched and shared. Moments are viewable only by Netflix subscribers.
It's called Moments and was introduced last year - except it was more of a bookmark feature. Today, the company is updating it to allow users to set both a start and an end point, essentially creating a short clip. That's a lot more useful for sharing concrete moments (which may or may not go viral). Releasing it now is no coincidence - part 2 of the second season of Wednesday drops today.
You can create Moments using the mobile app (be it Android or Apple, phone or tablet). Hit the Clip button to set the start point, pick an end point and save. You will find the Moment in the My Netflix tab and you can rewatch it as many times as you want - and more importantly, you can share it with others. There is a major limitation, however. Moments can only be viewed by people who are subscribed to Netflix.
