The vivo X300 series will record better cinematic portrait video than the new iPhones
"The vivo X300 was spotted running Geekbench earlier today, letting the Dimensity 9500 stretch its legs. The new chip will be announced on September 22, one day ahead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. But it won't be the only notable chip inside the X300 phones - vivo will also integrate its in-house V3+ imaging chip. This chip will allow the vivo X300 phones to record cinematic portrait video at 4K 60fps."
"Vivo has worked with ARM and MediaTek to enhance the NPU inside the Dimensity 9500 chip. This allows for fast computation on tasks such as focus tracking - the X300 series will be able to achieve millisecond-level motion tracking and shutter response. The Dimensity 9500 will make the vivo X300 series the first phones to crack the 4 million points barrier on AnTuTu, as seen in a screenshot shared by Han last week."
The vivo X300 was spotted running Geekbench with the Dimensity 9500. The Dimensity 9500 will be announced on September 22, one day before the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The X300 series pairs the Dimensity 9500 with vivo's in-house V3+ imaging chip. The V3+ enables cinematic portrait video recording at 4K 60fps, claimed as a first for both Android and Apple phones. The latest iPhone 17 supports cinematic portrait video at 4K 30fps. Collaboration with ARM and MediaTek enhanced the Dimensity 9500 NPU for millisecond-level motion tracking and faster shutter response. The Dimensity 9500 is projected to surpass 4 million AnTuTu points. The X300 Ultra will feature two 200MP cameras.
