Charlie Benante and Carla Harvey married on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at The Secret Garden in Las Vegas. Gene Simmons officiated the ceremony after recovering from a recent car crash. Guests included members of Pantera, Mötley Crüe, Dream Theater, and Nickelback. Benante described the reception as an elegant Russ Meyer movie with a rock and roll twist and said the original plan for a small, intimate gathering grew once friends learned of the wedding. The couple became engaged at a U2 concert at the Sphere in January 2024 and will return immediately to music projects, finishing The Violent Hour's second EP and completing a new Anthrax album.
