Avalon Emerson is reviving the Charm with a new album titled Written Into Changes, produced alongside Bullion and Rostam Batmanglij and due March 20 on Dead Oceans. The release follows the single "Eden" and features the new single "Jupiter and Mars," accompanied by a Ben Turok-directed video. Emerson emphasized that performing earlier, softer songs on festival stages shaped a more dynamic, energetic approach for this record. In 2025 she launched the Perpetual Emotion Machine singles series, including a rework of Moby's "Next Is the E." A multi-date tour across Europe and North America and festival appearances will accompany the release.
