BTS announced a 2026–2027 world tour starting in South Korea in April and running through March 2027 with more than 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Europe. A presale for ARMY Membership holders who register on Weverse will take place on 22 and 23 January, with a general sale for all regions on 24 January. BigHit Music scheduled BTS's return to music on 20 March after a nearly four-year hiatus. The hiatus resulted from the requirement that all seven members — RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope — complete South Korea's mandatory military service. Suga completed social service duties in June 2025; the other members served in the army.
