"Concerts on the Corner kicks off its 2025-26 season with mariachi music on Sept. 14 at First Congregational Church of San Jose. Birders can take a leisurely two-mile expert-led flat walk out at Shoreline Lake Park on Sept. 10, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., to see the shorebirds that inhabit the salt marsh, salt ponds, sloughs and mudflats. Binoculars can be borrowed."

Supplies and tools will be provided in addition to snacks, lunch and a bottle of water. All events include transportation and lunch and require online registration.
