""An Oregon band!""
""Terry Cur-ri-ER!""
""You don't know me, but I own a record store," Currier read aloud."
""Peter Buck from R.E.M. just came in and bought your record!""
The 2025 Oregon Music Hall of Fame induction at the Aladdin Theater featured inductee-led performances and an impromptu tribute to Terry Currier. Jim Brunberg and Mary-Sue Tobin performed "Terry's Tune," with Brunberg chanting Currier's name until Currier emerged and read a 1993 voice message aloud about Peter Buck buying a record. Currier then walked offstage. Currier serves as OMHOF board president, Music Millennium proprietor, and Burnside Records founder and has spent five decades selling, promoting, organizing, and advocating for Oregon music. The ceremony opened with an In Memoriam slideshow honoring recently deceased members of Oregon's music community.
