Olivia Dean won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in Los Angeles, confirming her emergence as a major new pop star. She achieved transatlantic success with joyful, soulful romantic pop singles such as "Man I Need" and "So Easy (To Fall In Love)." Dean’s career began with her 2019 EP OK Love You Bye and progressed through genre experimentation before she settled on the pillowy, jazz-toned sound of her second album, The Art of Loving. She was presented the award by Chappell Roan. Born in Highams Park, north-east London, Dean cites family influences and early musical memories; her debut album Messy earned a Mercury Prize nomination.
