BTS will release an album on March 20, 2026, followed by a world tour, ending a nearly four-year hiatus. BigHit Music confirmed the comeback on X. The group paused collective activities in June 2022 to pursue solo projects and to complete mandatory South Korean military service. All seven members — RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, and j-hope — have fulfilled their duties, with Suga completing service in June 2025. The 2026 album will be the first release since the 2022 anthology "Proof." Before the hiatus, BTS generated over 5.5 trillion won annually in South Korea.
