Laufey released a new album titled A Matter of Time and shared lead single "Tough Luck" earlier this year. She performed "Tough Luck" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote the release. The album was produced by Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner. Laufey said she aimed to expose and examine her most flawed parts rather than maintain a polished, romantic façade. She will support the album on a North American tour beginning September 15 in Orlando, with Suki Waterhouse opening all dates. Tour stops include major cities across the U.S. and Canada and tickets are available.
A Matter of Time follows the artist's most recent full-length effort, 2023's . The new project was produced by frequent Laufey collaborator Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner. "People expect a pretty façade of girly clothes, fantastical stories, and romantic music," Laufey said in a statement. "This time, I was interested in seeing how I could draw out the most flawed parts of myself and look at them directly in the mirror."
Laufey will support A Matter of Time with a North American tour that kicks off September 15th in Orlando, Florida. The run of shows will also include stops in Austin, San Diego, Chicago, Nashville and more before winding up in Boston on October 27th. Suki Waterhouse will open all dates. Get tickets here.
