Life Is Living Festival 2025 runs 11AM–4PM at DeFremery Park in West Oakland with free admission and family-friendly programming. The Hella Solidarity main stage opens with MC RyanNicole and includes DJ sets, libation and blessing, community speakers, BPP alumni, and live performances. A Dance Zone presents scheduled classes and performances including Congolese/Ngoma drumming, Kendo demonstration, Haitian dance, Destiny Junior Company, Congolese dance, and West African dance with Diamano Coura. Free breakfast is served 11AM–12PM in the legacy of the Black Panther Party by People's Kitchen Collective and Understory Oakland. Additional activities include kids' soccer, Champion Oakland Ballers baseball, a Scraper Bike demo, youth showcases, and dance workshops.
