Ariana Grande shared “Hate That I Made You Love Me” as the lead single from her upcoming album Eternal Sunshine. The song was co-written and produced by Grande, Ilya, and Max Martin, and it arrived with a comic-book-inspired lyric video. Eternal Sunshine is scheduled for release on July 31 via Republic. The album is executive produced and co-written by Grande and longtime collaborator Ilya, who has worked with Grande since her 2014 breakout with “Problem.” Grande described the album as something full of life that grows through cracks in something cold and hard. Petal follows her return to the stage with a major tour starting in June, plus screen appearances including her starring role in the Meet the Parents franchise and a previously unreleased outtake from Dangerous Woman.
