"A memorial walk was held for the late Brent Hinds in Atlanta on Sunday (August 31st). Hinds' longtime Mastodon bandmates Bill Kelliher and Brann Dailor were among the family and friends that gathered to walk from Elmyr to the Star Bar to celebrate the life of the guitarist-singer. In a video posted to Facebook, dozens of individuals could be seen on the street in front of Elmyr raising a toast. As previously reported, Hinds was tragically killed at the age of 51 in a motorcycle accident on the night of August 20th. According to an Atlanta police report, a male riding a Harley Davidson was killed in a collision after a driver of a BMW SUV failed to yield while making a turn at an intersection. The Fulton County medical examiner's office later confirmed Hinds as the driver of the motorcycle."
