Midlake announced a sixth album titled A Bridge to Far, due November 7 via Midlake Records / Believe. The record was made at Austin's The Echo Lab Studio with producer Sam Evian and includes contributions from Madison Cunningham, Hannah Cohen, and Meg Lui. The band emphasized recording together in the room to capture authentic interpretations and blended familiar stylistic elements with new directions. The first single, "The Ghouls," is a textured, propulsive folk-rock track featuring the band's signature harmonies and a studio-shot video. Eleven tracks and fall Texas live dates accompany the release.
