PUP Announce Live Album, Documentary, and Zine
"The bumper crop of archival material is drawn from the Toronto band's six-show stint behind the May album Who Will Look After The Dogs?, which took them to successively bigger hometown venues-each with a place in the band's own lore-joined by guests including Jeff Rosenstock and Nobro."
"The resulting album, Megacity Madness (The Official Live Recordings), is a vinyl exclusive set for release on March 13, 2026, through their webstore and indie retailers."
"This week of shows was one of the best, most validating experiences we've ever had as a band. We never expected PUP to do anything aside from play a few basement shows. It really hit me hard on night 6, standing on stage with my best friends and realizing how lucky we are to get to do this for a living, to be from such a wonderfully supportive community, and most of all, to get to do this with all of our friends and family around. I'm relieved we decided to record all the shows and have our friends follow us around all week with cameras. If not for the mountain of evidence, I wouldn't believe any of it happened."
PUP are issuing a comprehensive release package from their Megacity Madness run: a vinyl-exclusive live album, a six-part documentary video series, and a 196-page Megacity MegaZine. The archival material comes from a six-show Toronto stint behind the May album Who Will Look After The Dogs?, with performances that grew to progressively larger hometown venues and featured guests including Jeff Rosenstock and Nobro. The documentary series is available in full now. The vinyl album, Megacity Madness (The Official Live Recordings), is scheduled for release March 13, 2026 through the band's webstore and independent retailers. All six shows were recorded and filmed throughout the week.
