Briefly

Following the death of Brian Wilson, tributes poured in from notable figures in the music industry, commemorating his significant impact on music. Sean Ono Lennon expressed his heartbreak and noted Wilson's kindness and genius, comparing him to Mozart. Randy Bachman reflected on the Beach Boys' legacy, describing them as America's answer to the Beatles and remembering their familial bond. Questlove spoke of Wilson's ability to convey deep sadness through his art, recognizing the vulnerability that Wilson's work inspired in others. Various other artists also paid their respects, emphasizing Wilson's lasting influence.
Anyone who really knows me knows how heart broken I am about Brian Wilson passing. Not many people influenced me as much as he did... he was our American Mozart.
I remember when Brian decided to not go on the road anymore but continued to write incredible music. They were like family.
If there was a human being who made art out of inexpressible sadness.... damn it was Brian Wilson.
I hate he went thru what he went thru to create this album... but man--without him I dunno how many that came after felt safe to express sadness.
