I took a spontaneous Monday off for rare 80-degree sunshine but found the Marin Headlands gate locked because of the government shutdown. I drove to Rodeo Beach, where conditions were breezy and swimming felt sketchy, yet sunlight felt restorative. A Despacio sound system experience recently shifted my headspace, delivering a cellular and cosmic-level reset and lasting positive vibes.
