V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS delivered the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium and earned cheers after throwing a strike with Yoshinobu Yamamoto crouched as honorary catcher. V posed for photos in the dugout with Shohei Ohtani and chatted briefly with Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers shut out the Cincinnati Reds 7-0. BTS announced a new album for spring 2026 following completion of mandatory 18-month South Korean military service. Stadium announcer Todd Leitz referenced the band's reunion, and many BTS supporters in the crowd reacted enthusiastically to V's appearance.
