Will Smith sued by violinist for alleged 'predatory behaviour' and 'grooming'
"Mr Joseph's allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless. They are categorically denied, and we will use all legal means available to address these claims and to ensure that the truth is brought to light."
"predatory behaviour"
"such a special connection that I don't have with anyone else"
"Brian, I'll be back no later [sic] 5.30, just us... Stone F."
Brian King Joseph, 33, filed a lawsuit on December 30 naming Will Smith, 57, and Treybull Studios Management as defendants. Joseph alleges that Smith groomed and primed him for further sexual exploitation after meeting in November 2024 when Smith hired him to perform in San Diego. Joseph accepted invitations to join Smith's 2025 tour and play on Smith's album Based on a True Story. Joseph alleges Smith told him he had "such a special connection that I don't have with anyone else". Joseph reports unlawful entry into his Las Vegas hotel suite and discovery of items and a note suggesting another individual's presence. Smith's lawyer called the allegations false, baseless, and reckless.
