An unidentified transgender woman reported that an 18-year-old man targeted her for assault and exposed her body to onlookers, including children, inside Cedar Point near the main gate in Sandusky, Ohio. The woman told police she believed the assault occurred because she is transgender. Police said the suspect approached from behind, grabbed her skirt and underwear, and pulled them down, exposing her buttocks and genitals. Officers warned the man to stop and threatened to use a Taser. After verbal warnings, an Axon Taser was deployed, and the suspect fell to the ground. Paramedics and an ambulance were summoned as standard procedure, and the suspect allegedly acted aggressively toward officers, leading to additional units. He was charged with public indecency, persistent disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest.
