The Salt Lake City DA's office confirmed that Taylor Frankie Paul will not be charged with domestic assault against her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. The decision was based on the statute of limitations and the lack of sufficient evidence to support the allegations. Paul expressed relief on social media after the announcement. Her public struggles included the halt of filming for Mormon Wives and the cancellation of her Bachelorette season. Although cleared of new charges, she previously pleaded guilty to aggravated assault against Mortensen in 2023.
