A first look at the new food hall opening inside the former Lord & Taylor building
Briefly

Shaver Hall, opening at the former Lord & Taylor site in midtown Manhattan, will feature 11 food stalls, a high-end omakase restaurant, a modern bodega, and a concert stage. The project aims to celebrate New York's culinary scene while fostering community and connection. Curated stalls will showcase popular local eateries, with a focus on emerging chefs and food trends. The venue, designed for discovery and enjoyment, emphasizes both traditional and innovative food experiences, marking the building's transformation into a vibrant hotspot.
This project has been in the works for over three years. We see Shaver Hall as a chance to reimagine the food hall experience in midtown creating a space built for connection, community and culinary discovery.
It will be a New York style bodega selling traditional items like grab-and-go snacks. There will also be a nice coffee program.
