A Cessna 550 crashed in San Diego's Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport area during foggy conditions, resulting in the deaths of three individuals onboard, all employees of Sound Talent Group. The confirmed deceased include co-founder Dave Shapiro, who was deeply involved in the music and aviation industries. In addition to co-founding the agency in 2018, Shapiro had a passion for aviation, running a scenic flight tour company and holding extensive flight experience.
