Benson Boone delivered a dynamic cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" at Coachella, joined by guitarist Brian May. Despite Boone's energetic performance, the audience's response was lukewarm, prompting him to humorously express his frustration in a TikTok video. May, however, appreciated the collaboration, praising Boone's talent and the memorable conclusion to the performance. Boone has upcoming festival appearances and is preparing to release his sophomore album, "American Heart," in June, reflecting his ongoing career growth.
Though Boone was jumping with joy over the Queen guitarist (he actually hopped over his head at the song's end), the crowd wasn't as enthralled.
In his own social media post, the Queen member expressed his deep appreciation to Boone and his team for the guest appearance at Indio.
Boone is hitting a couple more festivals this summer, including Governors Ball, Bourbon & Beyond, and more.
During his Coachella set, he also announced his sophomore album, American Heart, which is due out June 20th.
