The Philadelphia-based Roots Picnic festival announced its 2026 edition at a new venue, Belmont Plateau, scheduled for May 30 and 31. JAŸ-Z and The Roots will headline Saturday, marking their first collaboration performance in over a decade. This represents JAŸ-Z's first announced live appearance since joining Beyoncé for the Cowboy Carter tour finale in Paris last year. The festival's relocation and this headlining pairing are described as bucket-list moments for organizers.
