Jeff Parker Announces ETA IVtet album Happy Today
""2025 was a very difficult year for me and my family. Dealing with being displaced from the Eaton fires for eight months, and the kind of toll that instability took on my family's mental health and general outlook, coupled with Donald Trump being back in office and basically making life miserable for everyone.""
""It was a very happy moment. So I called the record Happy Today.""
ETA IVtet's upcoming album 'Happy Today' is set for release on May 15 via International Anthem. The album consists of two expansive tracks, each over 20 minutes long. Recorded at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles, the quartet will perform a series of shows in August. A concert film documenting the live recording will premiere in various cities before its official release on May 29. Parker described the album as a statement of joy following personal challenges faced in 2025.
