"Oliveri contributed to two of the band's biggest albums, 2000's Rated R and 2002's Songs for the Deaf, before being ousted in 2004 amid domestic abuse allegations."
"In an interview, Homme mentioned the possibility of a Kyuss reunion, stating, 'It always left me with a strange feeling, because it's, like, you wanna set things right... I don't have negative feelings about anybody.'"
Nick Oliveri rejoined Queens of the Stone Age for a performance on April 25th at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. Frontman Josh Homme introduced Oliveri, who sang 'Auto Pilot' alongside Homme and bassist Michael Shuman. Oliveri was part of QOTSA from 1998 until 2004, contributing to major albums before his departure due to allegations. He has made limited appearances with the band since. The 'Catacombs Tour' concludes on May 1st, followed by a UK/European tour and a North American stadium tour with Foo Fighters.
