SAS Italian Records, a well-loved Bensonhurst establishment for nearly 60 years, has announced its permanent closure. The owners expressed their gratitude to loyal customers and are offering a closing sale with discounts ranging from 50% to 80%. Founded in 1967 by Ciro and Rita Conte who immigrated from Italy, the store has been a hub for Italian culture in the community, selling a variety of products including music, movies, and housewares. The closure comes after the passing of co-owner Rita Conte, eliciting sorrow from the local community.
We are deeply grateful for the support of our customers over the years. As we prepare to close, we invite you to stop by and take advantage of our storewide closeout sale starting at 50%-80% off all items.
After the passing of its owner, Signora Rita, we ask for your prayers for their family. The community was saddened to hear the news that another longtime Bensonhurst store would be closing.
