'Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York)' Sets North American Tour

Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) will tour North America beginning in fall 2027. The tour will launch at Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, then continue to cities across the United States and Canada. Additional tour stops and casting will be announced later. The production has previously run in Boston, London’s West End, and on Broadway. It received eight Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score, and acting nominations for Sam Tutty and Christiani Pitts. The musical is also named to Deadline’s 10 Best Broadway Shows of 2025. The story follows Dougal, an optimistic Brit visiting New York for a wedding, and Robin, the bride’s sharp sister, as their journey across the city leads to something unexpected.
