40 Dogs Rescued From NYC Apartment Were Found 'Inside Closets And Cupboards'
Briefly

A rescue operation by the Animal Care Centers of NYC revealed dozens of dogs, including puppies and adult Malinois, confined in an apartment without access to fresh air. The dogs were discovered in closets and behind furniture, under layers of neglect. Following the eviction of their owner, who is under investigation, police and animal welfare officials reported that the dogs were in poor condition and required substantial rehabilitation and behavioral intervention. Neighbors had witnessed the deplorable conditions and reported constant distress from the animals.
We found full-grown Malinois hidden in cabinets and crammed behind furniture.
