Governor Hochul endorsed Assemblyman Micah Lasher in the Democratic primary for New York's 12th congressional district. She praised him as a thoughtful leader who will combat President Trump's agenda. Lasher, a former aide to Hochul and retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler, is in a competitive race against Assemblyman Alex Bores, Jack Schlossberg, and George Conway. The primary winner is expected to secure the general election in this heavily Democratic district. Lasher has received endorsements from Nadler and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
