Six arrested at protest of Palantir, tech company building deportation software for Trump admin
Briefly

Six protestors were arrested outside Palantir Technologies' New York City office during a demonstration against the firm's collaboration with ICE in deporting immigrants. Organized by Planet Over Profit and Mijente, the protest involved participants linking arms to block building entrances, showcasing signs denouncing Palantir's controversial practices. After about an hour, police intervened, resulting in six arrests. Caroline Chouinard, a protestor, described aggressive actions by police and potential Palantir employees during the event. Demonstrators aimed to highlight issues of systemic inequality alongside climate justice.
The demonstrators had gathered to bring attention to the controversial firm and the work it does to power the deportation of immigrants from the US.
Chouinard said that police began to detain and zip-tie them before they could comply with their orders to disperse.
Videos shared captured by representatives of Planet Over Profit showed some people attempting to enter the premises pushing the protestors.
I was just using my body to physically stand there and myself and others around me were repeatedly shoved and pushed to the ground.
