Brooklyn robotics team make it to World Championship with Bloomberg help

The Megalodons, a robotics team from John Dewey High School, successfully qualified for the FIRST 2025 World Championship held in Houston, TX. Their achievements at the New York City Regional included winning the Engineering Inspiration Award, along with the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award and Deans List Finalist Award. As a celebrated Bloomberg-sponsored team, they greatly benefited from mentorship and funding through the Dollars For Your Hours initiative, which helps underwrite costs for their trip to the competition in Texas.
