5-star Boozer: Duke 'overlooked,' but not for long
Briefly

Cameron Boozer, a five-star prospect and son of NBA star Carlos Boozer, believes the Duke basketball team is being overlooked heading into the upcoming season. Boozer thinks their squad, which features his twin brother Cayden and a number of experienced players, possesses the capability to reach the Final Four. Despite losing several key players to the NBA draft, Boozer is confident that their strong teamwork and competitive spirit will elevate them in rankings. Duke has been consistently included in preseason top-25 polls following a previous Final Four appearance, although they may start ranked outside the top 10 this season.
"I think we have a special group," said Boozer, the reigning Gatorade National Player of the Year. "I think we're very overlooked right now, but once the season starts, that'll change for sure... we’re going to be in a spot to get [to the Final Four] just like they did last year."
Duke, which lost to Houston in the Final Four, has been included in every reputable preseason top-25 poll but could enter the 2025-26 season ranked outside the top 10.
