The 6-foot-4 rookie from Baylor finished with 25 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, and went 5-of-10 with 3-of-4 from three-point range. Two late 3-pointers erased a Memphis lead; his 3 with 1:55 in regulation put Philadelphia up 128-121 before Ja Morant forced overtime. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey scored 34 points each and Paul George added 17. Edgecombe averages 15.5 points and drew praise for his steady poise.
