Jimmer Fredette, known for his stellar college career at BYU and his experiences in the NBA and overseas, retired from professional basketball. He rose to national prominence by averaging 28.9 points per game in his final college season, earning accolades such as consensus national player of the year. Fredette's career also included remarkable stints in China, where he notably scored multiple high-point games and won league MVP. Most recently, he excelled in 3x3 basketball, securing multiple medals for Team USA before suffering an injury at the Paris Olympics.
"Basketball has taken me all around this world: from Glens Falls NY, to BYU, the NBA, China, Greece, and even Team USA at the Olympics!" Fredette wrote in a social media post.
