Ice Cube and Dwight Howard tout Big3's potential during festive Intuit Dome visit
Briefly

The BIG3 basketball league, founded by Ice Cube, embodies a lively West Coast block party atmosphere infused with hip-hop energy. The Summer in the City tour featured eight teams competing for a championship prize, emphasizing community engagement and local ownership. This event, held in Inglewood, showcased the LA Riot franchise, a nod to historical racial tensions and a cultural movement. Shifting to a city-based model, the league aims to build loyal fan bases and ensure long-term stability for franchises, starting with a $10 million investment in Los Angeles.
"It takes a village; all these people have honed their skills to be the best," Ice Cube, the league's co-owner and founder, said of the atmosphere.
"It was a dream come true, not too far from where I grew up," Ice Cube said. "So to have a league like this, right at the house, is just beautiful."
