Upon landing on the floor, Wembanyama immediately grabbed at his left knee. Teammate Stephon Castle stepped in to help Wembanyama back to his feet, and the center was able to hobble to the locker room under his own power."

After grabbing his knee and hobbling to the locker room, he returned to the bench late in the game. He finished with 31 points and 13 rebounds and had missed earlier games this season with a left calf strain.
