Dak Prescott vowed that the Cowboys will not return to their current disappointing position and pledged to prevent a repeat outcome. He said he will do his damnedest to influence team culture, offer more input to the front office, and encourage everyone around him, not just players. Prescott refused to sit out the final two games and insisted on playing on Christmas. He said he would oppose any decision to protect him and wants to finish a strong individual season.
