Dolphins' De'Von Achane returns to practice, expected to be ready Week 1
"My vision of him practicing will become reality (Monday),"
"I'm expecting him to not miss a beat based on his tremendous offseason,"
"And I would envision him being available for Week 1."
De'Von Achane missed portions of late training camp and the preseason while being treated for a calf issue as a precaution. Coach Mike McDaniel said Achane would return to practice on Monday and remained on track to play the season opener Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts. Achane first missed a practice on Aug. 14 after joint sessions with Detroit. McDaniel expressed confidence that Achane would not miss a beat following a strong offseason. Players not practicing Monday included Jaylen Wright (lower body), Ethan Bonner (hamstring), and Dee Eskridge.
