Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts met with A.J. Brown following the Eagles' first loss of the season. Barkley said the Monday meeting was focused on the team and was not a traditional, heated players-only meeting. A.J. Brown continued to struggle, finishing with five catches for 43 yards on eight targets and failing to reach 50 yards in four of five games. Barkley had 30 rushing yards on six carries, his lowest single-game total since 2021. Barkley expressed regret that the meeting became a public talking point and noted players routinely talk with teammates such as DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson.
