"I'm always trying to get better, always trying to improve year in and year out. As you get older, sometimes they think you don't have it as much, but I feel like I'm still getting better. I feel like I'm still trying to improve. And obviously playing with [Maye], that helps things."
"I've caught the easiest touchdowns of my life this year."
"[Henry is] an incredible teammate. He's one of our most respected workers on our team. Without question, every day, ready to go, takes good care of his body, is able to go out there and rep things at full speed. After so many years of being in the league, I think he's continuing to get better at things, which is an incredible example for our younger players. He's dependable, he studies, he's well prepared."
Hunter Henry recorded a career-high 712 receiving yards this season, surpassing his previous best of 674. He produced seven touchdown receptions, 55 catches, and a 12.9 yards-per-catch average, marking some of his best statistical marks in a 10-year career. Henry remains one of the longest-tenured Patriots and has served as a team captain in four of five seasons with New England. Coaching staff praise highlights his leadership, preparation, dependability, and daily work ethic. Improved passing accuracy from second-year quarterback Drake Maye contributed to Henry's easier touchdown opportunities and overall production. The Patriots will rely on Henry's play in the postseason.
