All 32 teams were asked to reiterate key aspects of the league gambling policy and to make the policy readily available to players. An FBI investigation led to arrests including Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier and Damon Jones in probes tied to illegal sports betting and rigged poker games backed by the Mafia. The policy forbids placing bets on NFL football, throwing or fixing games or manipulating play, and sharing confidential non-public information about any game, player or event.
